Could I ask where we learn the PU Zod and company never existed?

If that was flatly said in a story, it does sort of prove Matrix at least has to have had an origin change.

Wouldn't it be a kick if the three Pocket Universe Kryptonians got retconned into being versions of Non, Ursa, and Zod?

Would sort of fill in a few gaps (like the two realities having such different versions of Zod). Simple. In a retcon, the PU Zod WAS pretty similar to the mainstream one, and so were his "friends".
