I'm surprised this board is so calm. I've seen many people blowing gaskets elsewhere. Still, I say here what I did there:
My gut tells me it is not as permanent or as drastic as the Collective Comic Internet ID seems to believe. That's not how DC or Marvel works anymore. This is likely a storyline that will run its course and nothing more.
And I stand by my comment that they will not permanently renumber ACTION COMICS or DETECTIVE COMICS (probably not SUPERMAN or BATMAN, either). They are too historical.

I've vented on it on some of my friends FB statuses and on Deviantart, but personally, I'm just pissed at the notion they're wiping out Action/Detective Comics numbering to new #1's.
I'm actually all for a line-wide reboot of the universe; but considering all the people attached to write/draw these books and the fact they've all but stated that a decent amount of continuity will be staying (I.E. all of Johns recent work), I have no desire to read these books and frankly don't care.
But as much as I have no desire to read their books, I don't want to see Action Comics numbering undone just for a stunt (because I'm sorry, if you re-start the book at #1 and then change it back later, it's not continuing the original print run).
But that's just me.
