A chance to reboot Superman without the red trunks, without a selfish Lois. Hmm, sounds interesting. Does this effectively erase Kingdom Come and Earth One?

So is DC rebooting because they have run out of new ideas? They don't have to reboot any of the titles. They could've just start a new Earth One series carrying all the major titles. Quick, someone email them my suggestion!


My intuition says it's mandated by new EiC Bob Harrass and upper management, the fact this is also hand in glove with DCs move to digital sales tells you a lot as well. I just can't see the likes of Geoff Johns suggesting this... definitly not as a permanent reboot.
Being Cynical it's another bid to grab the hype and marketshare for five minutes, but if they were indeed serious I would think such a reboot would come from a HUGE event like crisis, not out of the blue and done in a hurry from a fairly minor event like Flashpoint....
