Isnt Flashpoint doing the same thing?It seems to me D.C. and Marvel are more out of touch than ever with the readers.I am lost is there a reset for Flashpoint then yet another coming?


It's a very good point and one that will be slowly absorbed once the buzz dies down, *IF* this is a total revamp (and details are still very sketchy after all) and DC have really thrown everything out to start again then what are current readers like me supposed to feel when I step into the comicshop this saturday and see what's in my folder? Why buy the latest Supergirl/Superman or JLA when DC are appearing to say they are now deemed utterly irrelevant and even passe'. It's an announcement that while very exciting on the surface is extremely dangerous in the short and longterm. I have no stomach for another Legion reboot, another Superman origin is crass in the extreme give the Johns/Frank one is still very warm on the shelves along with Wonder Womans.
Reboots are actually very very hard to make work and DCs own chequered history makes that very clear.
