Previous Post From what I understand, Flashpoint is nothing more than just an "Age of Apocalypse" type of alternate universe and after it's done, things will revert back to the old/'new' universe with back-stories closer to what we remember. So, thankfully, this won't be Superman for long.

It's making for an interesting read; I don't know why anyone would think this is some sort of bizarre re-design that's going to be permanent. I do think they tried to do a permanent change with electro-supes, and that really sickened me (just about every letters page came up with the same crap of "it's not the powers that make the super-man, it's the man" -- I got so tired of that line coming up I almost dropped the book).
