Um, I'm not the one you asked that question of.

Please try to keep us all straight.

We're not trying to gang up on you, but if you say something several people feel is out of line, maybe that should tell you something.

We're here because we all enjoy Superman, and if someone doesn't like something done with the character and says so, they're speaking from the heart. It's not something to go after them on.

Not all that's done with Superman is automatically good, and this message board is here for people to discuss all sorts of things related to the character and related characters, good and bad.

I myself was just thinking recently about Supergirl becoming a Red Lantern, and how I'm on the verge of dropping the book. That reminded me of what happened back in the pre-Crisis days, where she went thru a major period of the writers just not knowing what to do with her. (At one point I think they even made her an actress on a soap opera in her secret I.D. of Linda Danvers. Yeah, that kind of schedule would work with her being Supergirl...NOT.)

Eventually, they killed her off in the Crisis. Now, they again don't seem to be able to give her anything to do and still be "Supergirl". It's like watching Donna Troy become a Darkstar all over again, and we all know how that went.

Obviously, I'm not satisfied with how they're handling the character. Does that make me a bad guy or a hater? NO! I really LIKE the idea of Kara Zor-El and her being Supergirl. I just wish they'd do better with the character.

A lot of people want the same for SuperMAN, and I can't say I'm not one of them.

You know, sometimes your loyalty to a character means you can say you don't like where the writers, editors, and suits are taking him/her.

I agree with Sethno. Darrylb, I also don't want you to feel everyone is jumping on you, but most of the guys here have been posting for years. I've come on here since late 2003. It seems like a long time, but there are many posters on the Superman board, who were here before me. We often don't agree with each other, but the posters who stick around do so because this is a comfortable environment.

Telling liheibao (a well liked member) not to post because you don't like his opinion is disrespectful and unnecessary. Phrase your arguments better.
