Oh,I agree with you 100%. If Jon is shown to be gay... which is as of yet unconfirme... it is to get people to come into omic shops and biuy the comic where he comes out, gets a boyfriend, and maybe one or two readers will even stick around. Probably not, but they have to try.

    These two instances were both the Clark Kent Superboy.

The name is included. The type of contract Conway signed was not implemented at Marvel or DC until the late 70s.

The Siegel and Shuster family money comes from the fact that they did not sign a contract. National comics simply took it for granted they owned that as well. If memory serves.

But the royalty system was not implemented until the Bronze Age. Previous to that, if you signed on teh dotted line, it was understood you did not own the rights, which is why Kirby's cases against Marvel went nowhere. He knew what the job entailed.
