I liked the original episodes but far too many of them were in the 'taming of the shrew' genre, as if the purpose of the series was to humiliate Lois Lane in a new way every episode. It quickly became tiresome.

The series actually improved once Lois discovered his secret identity, and the pair became an effective team.

However, by the time of the Kryptonian invasion, the episodes had started to deteriorate and become appallingly stupid, even by the low standards of the time. By the time of the cancellation, I considered it a mercy killing.
