You know how, in most depictions of Superman’s super-breath, he just expels a huge volume of air, but he’s never shown inhaling an equal volume of air beforehand? Sometimes he might be shown taking a quick breath right before, but it’s never anywhere near the same amount of air as he exhales. So like, where does all that air come from? Does he just magically create air inside himself? Does the mass of Earth’s atmosphere continually increase every time he does it?

I thought in one of the Christopher Reeve movies it showed him taking a deep breath before using his super breath. But I also believe that he exerts a lot of force and gets more of a punch out of his exhalations than we would.
