Previous Post I understand that "Truth, Justice, and the American Way" will be changed to "Truth, Justice, and a Better Tomorrow". I was even surprised to learn that some people aren't happy with it. (At least according to what I've seen on youtube) With DC (and now Warner Bros.) wanting to create the biggest possible worldwide audience with their IP, changing the slogan makes good marketing sense. "The American Way" not only sounds dated, but I can imagine sounds about as appealing to non Americans as saying "For Queen and Country" sounds to my American ears. How do you guys on this board feel about this?

From what i have read & heard over the years, the phrase "american way" refers to freedom. Why not just say that Superman fights for truth, justice & freedom?
