AAAND... Just like that - it appears nobody died afterall. Except maybe Lia... in THIS issue not last. Maybe.
To paraphrase Mongul-that-is who practically is waving a menacing fist in the aftermath: "Why I oughta kill you this time! Stay outta my yard! I'm keeping all your cool Superman stuff!"
Steel and OMAC 9 making for a buddy adventure. Can't be any less impressive than HULK #182 handcuffed characters? How many good film/tv handcuffed plotlines can you name off the top of your head?
Supes is still weak as a baby and those damn red sun generators aren't helping. Well at least he manages to almost make a playdate for Jon with one of the prisoner kids and veto Midnighter's escape plan for highly debatable purist reasons.
Martian Manhunter backup story? Gad ZOOK's that was mediocre.
Did you like either installment (any better than last ish)? How 'bout the OT fun/ny jpegs found online and attached below?

I haven't read an issue of Superman (ANYTHING) since Bendis' second to last issue. Well, I did gloss through Superman: Red & Blue and maybe something else.
I'm hoping to enjoy it all in one or two sittings once I have some down time. That, and I haven't heard anything compelling about any of the books in a long, long time.
