I guess it might be against the duke it out protocol of warriors but at the same time gods simply dont deal with things beneath their notice and would deal with them quickly and from affair if possible. I think this Thor will go hand to hand just like has in the past but will be more likely to use his weather powers when required instead of his pride getting in the way to prove he is the bigger dog.

I think that in and of itself is scary. Even if the ranged lightening bolt does not take his foe out it would sure as heck demoralizes anyone else who did it. Controlling the weather is a scary power but there is just something different when you are facing a god. There should be a sense of awe. Not saying Thor should be the end all be all of things, but its like when a top tier shows up people should be taken aback. This guy is powerful and is not to be fooled with if you dont have that kind of power. Perhaps this run will be very interesting.

I am actually curious about several other things. He is angry an IM for what he did to him. Fine, he will take care of that. I am cruious to see how he reacts to the death of Captain America. How will he interact with other former Avengers who he has respected in the past. Will he ignore them or seek their friendship again. Does he want to put the needs of his Asgard first over the Earths or did he put Asgard on Earth so that his concerns are now one in the same. He no longer has to be split between the Realm Eternal and the Earth? I think there is potential in the arc as things develop. I am curious to see what direction this will go with no script so to speak anymore. Asgard that was is dead, what iwll this one be like? Will BRB return? (I hope so).
