I wouldn't mind seeing Odin back in some form but it needn't be as Lord of Asgard.

There was a "What if ?" once where Thor took over Asgard and it left Odin free of the worries of Asgard and able to pursue other agendas. I thought it was rather good. He got rid of both Mephisto and Loki consigning them to limbo as I recall. Thor didn't have the OdinPower but drew enough power from the land of Asgard to dispose of the Destroyer construct.

I guess only one of them can have the OdinPower - can't they ? - unless it's shared in some way (not a good idea at all).

I'd be happy to see Odin making an occasional appearance - maybe inhabiting some other plane of existence and "slumming it" now and again. But when he does make an apperance - watch out for big daddy !

Why the partiality for Odin ? - well I'm basically an old fart myself !

Cheers

Garth
