> I always enjoy how your pencils have a bit of a 'soft touch' to them, Adey. They're not hard like many others I see from time to time. i think it really adds to the overall image, but that's just me.
> Seriously though, I think this is a good contender for ChesterQuest. Good use of narrative, even without text. (Errrr, is there actually dialog to this or is it just a silent story?) Plus Cebulski is looking for pencilers, so I think you have a good shot. I'm not saying that to be nice, I'm saying that because I honestly believe you've got a good shot.
> Also, and I know this is sounding very typical from me... may I color it, please? >=
You're not saying it to be nice ? ha ha ha...
However, the actual story is a silent one
as I'm no writer and I can just about spell my own name..
I will send it to them just as a tryout.
When I've finished the whole lot I'll do it.
Funny thing is I was saying to my wife about an hour ago that I don't like how soft my pencils are sometimes on my work.
I use only a couple at a time or even just one, usually 2h's or 3h's.
You must of read my mind in a reverse kinda way.
Anyway, thanks for the props again and ofcourse you can colour it.
I'm flattered that anyone would want to colour my work to be honest.
But, I'm not sure how it would come out coloured as I think if it was inked it may look better.
btw, I am going to draw a picture of your favourite horse-faced thundergod with the new look Thor in a couple of weeks or maybe less.
look out for it.
thanks alot as usual sweetie
