Sorry, I've been with a YouTube subculture for almost half-a-year, so I apologize for the obscure joke.

Anyhow, that IS a good point.

I don't think UK's argument of the movie -supposedly- jumping on the LotR*Bandwagon doesn't hold any water (but then again, none of his 'arguments' hold any water whatsoever), especially with this revelation that Walt was inspired by said books.

Makes you wonder, doesn't it?

Even when Marvel have stated they want to cash in on the fantasy revival of Lord of the Rings thus making the Thor movie Asgard-centric.

Lets examine those arguments then...

Hardly a revelation, many have known it for years.

Added to which even Walt said he would retain Asgard for the sequel if he were to write a Thor movie script.
