Agreed. This week was a light week for me, so I perused the recent back-issues and bought this. I'm in the process of typing it all out so I don't have to keep reading from the book. Like you said, it's got lots of nice information, but it is difficult to read a lot of it.

Of course, above and beyond my being a comic nerd, I am a D&D nerd, so this book was right up my alley. \:\) I wish, instead of a 32-page comic, this was a 232-page, hardbound roleplaying accessory. Lots of info, but only enough to whet my appetite, I'm afraid.

I want to see where this "magic is broken" story is going, too.

Could explain why there are examples of aliens, including a Carol Danvers who was mind-controlled into a Kree, invoking Astarte, an alias of Ishtar. Or of course, it could be different beings with similar names.

All it says is that Chthon and Set were elsewhere. It doesn't say where.

I'd assume the universe was protected, just not by a Sorcerer Supreme.

I was loking at the unofficial timeline for th MU and it says approx 65 million years ago Set was able to travel to Earth under his own power. I wonder If Chthon was also able to travel more freely or if he was always the more dangerous/powerful of the two, and was already blocked from returning?
