Well, that's stating the obvious.

His scripts/ideas would be far better suited for an animated series... and I'm being fairly kind in saying that too. Considering the questionable amount of "movies" he has planned, I'd say you'd be better off cutting them up into 26 episodes over at least 3-4 TV seasons.

To even think of them as being outright, Hollywood made movies is, I'm sorry, absolutely ridiculous.

I do agree on that last point 100%... speaking from personal experience, elsewhere, that is.

I'm inclined to agree.

I mean kudos to UK for coming up with so much detail, but it was what...seven films or so? No non-horror licensed property comes out in seven films and succeeds...especially from a comic. I mean, Star Wars is arguably the biggest fanboy movie franchise of all time, and the 3 prequels were nothing more than jumped up toy adverts.

The only exception that springs to mind is Harry Potter...and that was going to be a movie per book from the outset. Most of the time one film is made, the critics comment and the public have their say financially, then your chance for a sequel comes around (hence the tendency to leave the sequel as a cliffhanger and film two movies together to score extra $$ with a trilogy: Back to the Future, The Matrix, etc).

Spidey almost got through 3 films before collapsing into an emo whinefest. Superman...well, he and Bats got the Ultimate treatment, so they're starting from #1 again. The FF probably have one more movie in the works, maybe two. The Punisher's getting a sequel, minus Tom Jane. The Hulk's getting a remake of #1. Blade bit the dust after #2 financially. Thor? Well...we'll see if/how they screw that up soon enough.

I can't see Thor getting more than 3 movies. Period.

To be honest, with the info we have thus far? I don't think I'll even like the one film he is getting.
