I imagine that several will be showing up to camp on the grounds near New Asgard.
Certainly this could cause Thor some problems.

I'm picturing kind of a Woodstock, with many Asatru types and probably more posers
and New Age wannabees.

Heh, that would be awesome.

That situation sounds like what Anne Rice had to deal with before she left New Orleans (i.e. she had stalkers and fans practically camped outside her home in NO and often tried to mob her as she left Sunday mornings for church or just going outside in general), or any celebrity for that matter.

But having Asatru followers and New Age posers would make for some fairly comedic -albeit for some uncomfortable- situations, especially since this Thor would probably be shocked/mortified/insulted by how they'd act in his name.

Come to think of it, I think it'd be an interesting commentary on crazies in religious groups in general and how a deity would genuinely react to them, but that's just me.
