the difference between asatru and skinheads are many.but to answer your one question in regarding race, white supremacy groups seem to think that the gods only want white men.which is false, the only thing the all-father ask is for those with brave hearts to stand with him at ragnarok.he doesn't care if your male or female, black or white onlt that you are brave and true to the gods.i hope this helps your question and good luck in walking the path you have chosen.

You might also find this link will help clear things up somewhat.

I'm Asatruar, and my esteemed Co-mod and friend Lightning Strike is a devout Christian, yet we're respectful of each other's views. Unfortunately some people view paganism as a tool to be Anti-Christian, which misses the point entirely (and don't get me started on LaVey's Church of Satan or as I prefer to see them, 'Bizarro-Christians'. ;\) )

I sincerely appreciate this kind and tolerant attitude you have toward each other. It comes off on the board, because I had read Lightning Strike's page when I was a devout Christian (studying to be a pastor), and I had wondered how someone so passionate about their faith would interact with Pagans. It was a delightful experience to find that you guys were united in friendship and a mutual enjoyment of comics.

(And occasion, befuddlement about debate over a self-same comic)

The key to Astaru are the Nine Noble Virtues. If they sound like something you could respect and follow, it may be the right choice for you.

And for the record, never join any group that require 'donations' to become a member. The Gods will see your actions whether you pay some New Age shyster or not.

    "Gibu Auja."

Thank you, I'll be looking more into them. Blessings on you and yours.
