The Designate also implies that she will be heading to Asgard soon, in another appearance that would tend to get me to ask the governor for a stay of execution - not a ticket off death row mind you - just a stay.

Well, considering the state of Asgardian affairs right now, I don't think it would be wise for Tarene to visit there right now, at least. It would be kinda interesting to see her visit and then get a cold shoulder reception (given Thor's gone, Balder's a dunce and Loki's pretty much running the place).

I know JMS said that a Ragnarok-Thor fight will happen eventually in the main book. Didn't even say anything about Tarene, which would lead me to believe that this would be a potential 'B-story' in the pages of the Initiative. That way, it doesn't totally interfere with whatever JMS has planned.

Would be interesting to have her and Thor meet, Tarene be all pissy that he didn't go out of his way to find her and then he totally getting up in her grill about why he didn't. Then again, I'd imagine Tarene would have gotten SOME humility after being kidnapped by the Skrulls for so long, so I doubt she'd be all like 'Waaaahhh, you didn't look for me, I is not Asgardian too?'

... I still wanna see a modern day Thor Corps-esque mini-series with Thor, Bill and Tarene though. Since DeFalco's "pet character" (Thunderstrike, mostly) isn't around, then the others would actually have a chance to shine.

hehe not that He'd REPLACE Masterson, the Frog of Thunder could be apart of the group.
