    What are you looking at???

Hulk clearly hits Thor in this scan and Thor is rocked backwards from the force of the blow. Thor takes the brunt of the blow and re-engages Hulk.

I'm looking at the page you scanned. Or was.

Its not clear at all though. If Hulk "clearly" hit Thor, why does the dialogue not indicate that? Thor doesn't even break sentence at being hit by the Hulk.

Your missing the point, which is, when Thor cuts loose, Hulk can not withstand the force of Mjolnir AND this is Thor using ONLY brute strength. That is much better than 'reasonably' doing well as you stated in your previous post.

Hulk managed to withstand Thor cutting loose in Hulk 440 pretty well if you don't mind me saying so. And vice versa. I also maintain that Thor only did reasonably well (Hulk 300), because despite really clobbering the Hulk hard enough to send the Hulk flying, Thor didn't even slow Hulk down.

I too wish the battle had gone longer. Although I believe this was the one time we would have seen Thor bring down the Hulk because Thor knew innocent lives were on the line and there wasn't a "Bruce Banner effect" holding him back from using lethal force as shown in the majority of thier previous fights.

Well I think a lengthier fight would have been enjoyable yes. As to the outcome, you cant tell either way really. However I would have given the fight to Thor too. Mainly because mindless Hulk was just that, Mindless. He had no intelligence, except just pure instinct. Even when Thor goes to WM... he still has his training in battle, his skills. Just wild and augmented with fury.

Also there wasn't any Banner holding back the Hulk in this issue which means both combatants were going all out.

Which means Thor would have found it hard to put the Mindless Hulk down, but he probably would have succeeded in doing it.
