All things considered, this is a good thing, I think. As it stands now, they haven't even gotten a final script nailed, let alone even the main hero or ANY of the supporting cast picked.

It's one thing to delay or rush a comic book, but movies are a completely different game all together, as anyone even remotely familiar with how Hollywood works can tell you. (Especially when there's, ya'know, millions of dollars involved in the production process)

And to be bluntly honest, it'd be the ultimate "bad showing" for Thor to have a half-assed and poorly made movie done in an unrealistic amount of time just to get it rushed out the door next summer and tarnish any potential outside-comics media things afterwards. A poorly made and rushed movie would do far more damage to his reputation than a Hulk vs. or any fight in the comics would do, realistically speaking. Just look at the Fantastic Four or Daredevil.

Think of it that way, I suppose.

I just hope this means the cartoon isn't going to be pushed back, but I suppose it will. Makes sense, but the thought of it still sucks. =/
