Quote:Yeah sure. That's why this so-called gnat is getting MUCH LOVE in air time for a second mini too!
You're actually comparing the imaginary powers of a fictional character with an editorial decision by actual people to publish a few issues with the character? Pray tell how the two are related?? Really.....
Wow - I've seen runaway fanboy logic but but that takes the cake.
Guess any character that ever gets a mini published must therefore be a world beater ...LOL...
Well it's TWO minis dealing with Galactus, so yes, I would say that elavates him beyond ant status
Don't hate...enjoy the mini dude and hope for the best
Quote:Galatus said it himself, and hence is echoing the writer, so I don't needto make any better case.
You simply ignore what I wrote and you probably will again - Bill isn't a gnat, but he is a gnat to Galactus who swatted him like a gnat in the first mini.
You are trying to down play this my friend.
G's armor has NEVER been cracked before from a blow by sheer brute strength ONLY. Never mind with just a SINGLE BLOW.
BRB's blow wasn't even augmented by mystical energy that Storm Breaker can generate. And on top of that it left a VISIBLE mark on Galactus! Imagine if Bill had channeled energy into the force of that blow.
It is an unprecedented. It has never happened in the history of Marvel continuity....EVER.
And BRB is a gnat? Hardly. G ignores gnats. He always ignores gnats after he sends his heralds to deal with them.
However he did not ignore BRB even after he sent Stardust to battle Bill......I wonder why not? Because BRB got G's attention with that display of sheer physical brute strength....that's why.
You've really got to come with a better case on G's behalf... please.
