The thought does occur that if (a) JMS really, REALLY doesn't want Siege of Asgard to go ahead and muck up the story he wants to tell, (b) he doesn't need the job because he's too busy as it is, and (c) Marvel are doing the event in the first place because they want to leech off JMS' sales power & thus don't want to replace him (since Thor sales would probably drop a lot), then JMS deliberately holding back scripts would be a pretty good way of making a crossover impossible, since you need to be able to time issues relative to a crossover for it to work...
