There is absolutely nothing in the comic itself to suggest Thor's inability to repair Mjolnir is because it's tainted, or because he used it to kill a family member. This theory has been floating around, but there is nothing to substantiate it.

The (lame) explanation given is that this is the first time Mjolnir was broken with pure force, not magic (which is actually false, Mjolnir was broken by force during Ragnarok). Bor was supposedly 'harder than Mjolnir', that's why it broke.

Uh, hmm...yea that was force that broke it during ragnarok...Seems to me that Perikus used force to slice it in half as well.

I think Superman, Hulk, Juggy, Mangog, and quite a few others are harder than the hammer as well. Seems to me that it was more so a strength of the blow thing.

So, anyways, he can't repair it like he has in the past. He needs a powerful sorcerer (likely Karnilla) to assist him.

Lol, guess Thor should have paid more attention in magic class.

"James told me there's an old saying here on Earth: May you be in heaven half an hour before the devil knows you're dead.
Not sure if Turian heaven is the same as yours, but if this thing goes sideways and we both end up there, meet me at the bar."

Legion: "They will exterminate your species because their gods tell them to. You cannot negotiate with them. They do not share your pity, remorse, or fear."
