I know he's the ruler of Asgard now, but where would you place Thor's age in terms of mortals and how mature do you really think he is ?

Do you think he should judge things alot better, is he a real mature adult now due to his responsibilities or is he still a bit of a hot-head ?

Has JMS and Oeming before him really made Thor a "father figure" without him being old.

Has Thor finally grown up and broke the shackles that held him back as a " daddy's boy " ?

What do you think ?

Grim Thor

Back in the day when Thor could actually back up his boasts, he was pretty immature and wouldn't think twice about uprooting a tree and throwing it at someone for no other reason than they disrespected him.

Now that Wolverine is much more powerful than Thor, he has to tread lightly so as not to embarrass himself by starting a fight and then losing badly to lesser characters.

I don't think its maturity so much as a beat-down based reality. "Hey look, if I can't win a fight, maybe I'll stop getting into them. That's more mature anyway" and that's the way the book is going.

And yeah, okay..so Thor beat up his grand-pappy who was so powerful he could make cars flip over...but look what it got him. Balder had to banish him because Asgardians shouldn't be allowed to fight anymore as this could only lead to Daredevil beating up Hogun the Grim or worse situations.
