Overall, Hercules is an incredible read (sorry, PUN!) every month. But the issue of Death in the MU has been addressed a lot. One point made in the story is that all the various lands of the dead (Hel, Valhalla, Hades, etc.) are all the same place, but like a different port of entry based on the beliefs of the dying. In Thor Annual #10, this was said to be not the case, and that every place was different. When the Death Gods tried to merge their lands, it brought forth the attention of the Demogorge, and had to be separated to make things right again. I'd like to see Mr. Pak (whose writing and knowledge I am very impressed by) review that issue and perhaps add some more light to it.

Also, I would like to know how the Cosmic Entity of Death relates to the gods/demons we've seen. Are all death gods just front men for Death?

Herc 129 was entertaining!

Varying takes and revelations on Death makes sense. This keeps it the Ultimate Mystery Ongoing. Some semblance of logic makes for good coherent reading even if it contradicts canon in this case - otherwise all the MU returns from Death would kill us with crazy.

It will be neat to see if this interpretation is followed up on and maintains an entertaining consistency. Like how real Greek myth was mixed in. Good observation with the Thor Annual - one of my Top 10-20 Thor issues to date.

Really like the Netflix line (helps explain some of Hercs modern speech patterns) and the "dewey meadows" (ode-ish instead of odious).

This ish was chock full of fun. Keen cameos and their pleasing possibilities too! Aegis, Janet, Banshee, Jack of Hearts and Elvis particularly. Consider Phaedra an Easter Egg.

Curious who can cite how/when each/any jury members(great idea) died...
