Previous Post

you have writers with clear biases and skewed viewpoints given freedom to portray MU characters in any way their biases might point?

Bendis is actually being less-than-honest about this as I believe he actually thinks Ares is greater than Thor --most will recall some threads from a couple of years ago when he expressed that opinion, including confirming that we would see Ares defeat Thor at some time

it is beginning to appear that time is coming

can anyone tell me why I shouldn't believe MU EDit has it out for Thor? how many more of these sorts of things and portrayals are "in the works" --how many more writers with such viewpoints will be working on Thor stories

does Bendis view lend credence to the opinions of Thor fans who have felt and expressed that Seige contained bad showigns for Thor and for Asgardians?

why aren't there a bunch of Pro-Thor authors writing stories showing Thor kicking @$$ at his full potential, showings equalling in number and extreme as those we've been subjected to with Thor on the receiving end?

all I can say is that I predicted and posted this 2-3 years ago, and here it is --search the archives djcc

I am down on Marvel titles, and the only reason I'm buying any is to support my local comic store as I have been a customer for years and years and want to help keep them going thru these hard times --the realtionship, as I am sure many of you have with your local shops, is more like true friend and family and that is the only thing saving MU from my complete cut-off --but my patience is stretched to the max with this ridiculous, vengeful, biased attitudes against Thor --MU Edit is in partner with it because they seem only to have a stable of writers and a product of portrayals that show Thor on the emabarrassing receiving end...

I'm still waiting for the flip side --anyone think it will ever come?

I will collect Thor as long as it is published in comic form.

Currently , I look forward to the Stephen King Titles, much more than the Thor or any other Marvel Title.

My 2 cents on what I collect...

Thor - Overall pretty good. I thought Hulk #5-6 were ok. I am fine with the Sentry build up, Ares got tore in half. Thor Survived...No other Hero could.

Iron Man - great story...just anoyed with the continuity of Marvel right now...things are all happening at different times to the piont of making things rediculous.

Hulk - Pick a book. average Red Hulk(s) cannot die soon enough.

ASM - OMD did in the character...#624 - nail in coffin. This is no longer Peter Parker Might as well just have stayed with the clone 10 years ago.

Wolverine - guilty pleasure. Romulus storyline is dragging on wayyyyyyyyy tooooooo long. other than that. He kills $#!t.

DC - Conan is great.

Marvel lost about $30 a month from me with JMS yanking THor around...BTW for the record...I despise JMS's run. Outside of Thor #3 and #600, he blew. And those were not near good enough to reconcile the one book every 3 months.

Rant over. Peace out.
