First, about the "noob"'s not that his opinion doesn't's really more about his credibility...would you let a newly licensed doctor operate on you if there are far more experienced doctors available? Honestly. Same thing with the noob writer who wrote the Hulk one-shot...there are far more credible writers who disagreed with him...and, at his own admission, he just wanted to make a comic that people will talk about...that's sensationalism, which will never replace a good story.

Second, about not waiting for "our guy" to be inconsistently portrayed before crying the first place, how could we cry foul if, for example, Brother Voodoo is inconsistently, or disrespectfully treated IF WE HAVE NO IDEA WHO HE IS, OR WHAT HE CAN DO? Correct? Are we obligated now to read every comic being published just so "our guy" will not suffer a similar fate? That's not very realistic now, is it?

I really think that that Marvel needs to verbally clarify ONCE AND FOR ALL this situation-simply because things that are RAPIDLY happening at this point in time has NEVER occurred before in this outrageously high degree of inconsistency. There's definitely chaos in the air, and I think as loyal MARVEL fans (that have been around for decades now) we need some sort of explanation as to why the Hulk, or any color or version of him are suddenly beating up on Thor- thus, violating all aspects of Continuity established since way back in the 60's, and enraging his fans. Instead, all we get is this double talk. Time for them to be upfront about it. I think I pretty much know the reason why they're doing this, and why they aren't commenting about it. They just don't want Thor to best the Hulk in popularity with the attention of the Thor movie coming up and all that; regardless of the fact that they have literally pushed the Hulk for decades to no end, and they have forgotten about Thor all this time. Unfortunately, the ONLY viable explanation I can find is it's just Fanboyism on their part. Pretty sad when you really think about it....

So they (Marvel) needs to explain why they have a ficticious character beating up on another. Riiight. And that doesn't sound like fanboyism on YOUR part I take it. I find it amazing how fanboys of one character will accuse others of being fanboys of another it's a bad thing! Moreover, both sides don't regard themselves as fanboys!

And that viable option you mentioned isn't the only one. It's the only one you choose to see. How about instead of Fanboyism it's simply a matter of 1: things just turned out the way that they did or 2: Marvel made a decision to once and for all quell the "who's stronger" issue. See? I saw two other "viable options" right there. Why can't you?

Finally, let me ask you this: If Thor were getting all the props and Hulk goes thru the rough patch that would be kool huh? If you answer that honestly (to yourself) you should finally see my point.
