    Quote:
I know he wanted Zeus to fix everything. I think he knew he wouldn't stand a chance against him, but if he could put up enough of a fight Zeus might respect him some and honor his sacrifice. He may have thought Zeus would say: "Dang, this mortal isn't a bad fighter and if he is willing to get himself killed he must be pretty desperate. I do kind of owe him so I will fix things."

    Quote:
The problem I have with it is everything anyone knows about Zeus knows he is a colossal a-hole. He respects other gods like Thor, but not mortals. Hercules told him as much. Worse, storming his home and demanding favors would only piss him off. I suppose the Hulk may have even wanted to die or be punished.

I read the issue in which Hulk got destroyed, but I hadn't been following the title, so I'm not sure what the point was. If Hulk's point was self sacrifice, he was successful. But to what end I don't know.

It's still very strange to me, the whole group of freaks (Hulk, Red She Hulk, A-Bomb, and the the other members). The whole idea of a "Hulk Family" just doesn't sit well with me. I like the Hulk as a solo creature, to be honest, not a leader of a bunch of misfits.
