Subj: I think in a way the Hulk is considered a simple, edgy character to relate too...

I am baffled as to why there are Hulk animated properties that are satisfying for the character's fans but Dr. Strange, Iron man and Thor seem to have such difficulty getting the same level of fan pleasing fare.

Hulk can often be boiled down to "HULK SMASH!" and the audience can empathize with a character wanting to just smash whatever enraged him. We all have had moments like that.

Thor and Dr. Strange are more difficult because they are more fantasy and larger than life. It is more difficult to portray that and for audiences to relate to. Thor is mostly a noble hero with no huge flaws. Strange is similar. In a way he is more difficult because he has no clear rules like Thor and Hulk.

Iron Man I admit I am lost on why they can't do a good job with him animated considering the films.
