i don't know why after almost 50 years of thor, not one writer has done a story on this. there is so many more stories that can be dug up. i scratch my head all the time thinking about marvel not concentrating and giving us this side of thor. with the movie about to be release in the theaters, and all these one-shots and mini-series, why hasn't the powers-that-be at least done one series on thor's mother? i mean, this is his real mother! you would think that thor want to know more about her.

i am one of the fans that think thor should have evolved after coming back from limbo. i know the asgardians is part of thor's world, but i would have loved to see him experience the loneliness without his people and look to his mother for parental support. i would have loved to see thor getting and meeting his half-brothers and sisters (and i know there's many) on his mother's side. there is so much material here that it boggles the mind that marvel hasn't capitalize on this.

if there's any marvel editors or writers lurking here on the thor board, can you please give this a try? i would like to see thor go in a different direction instead of the status quo.

one more thing, how long does it take thor to exhibit his mother's side of powers besides the little morsels you've thrown here and there (JMS' run when thor was in africa and splitting the earth beneath him, but that's not even a good showing of thor's mother's side because he could have done that without yelling out that this was his mother's influence. he splits the ground all the time with mjolnir).

so please, give us a mini-series that dwelve into this part of thor. i would buy it in a heartbeat.

Agree with you big time RE-man. as a a fella who is quite weary with the main title I would definitely pick this one up.
