    Quote:
Thor and The Hulk departed as friends at the end of Hulk issue 6 after kicking Red Hulk's ass. Thor also worked with Banner and Steve Rogers alongside Red Hulk after extracting a little payback. Now we have Fantastic Four 588 where Don Blake and Bruce Banner conspire to let Ben get a little frustration out. Even after both transformed into their more famous alter egos, we have Hulk waving off Thor so Ben can pound on him. Are we getting closer to actually seeing future Thor/Hulk team-ups?
There certainly seems to be some precedence for this, with their few meetings after Hulk #6.

I think I may actually like this..! It would add a bit more of a playful sort of rivalry to the two, more perhaps in the vein of Thor/Hercules, where they are friends, but just not best buddies.

I think something like Astonishing Hulk & Thor, a buddy team-up book in the same vein as Spiderman/Wolverine, could be a hoot!

A lot of potential for banter there, and ESPECIALLY if we have different versions of the hulk in the mini! That would mean that Thor wouldn't quite know how to approach the Hulk's persona from time to time, one issue they'd be close friends, ala Savage Hulk, another they are bitter rivals, aka GRAY Hulk, and with Banner he's merely a college.

Could be great. Let's SEE IT! \:\)
