    1.  We need to remember that Odin sacrificed one of his eyes to gain incredible knowledge and wisdom.  To that end, he has over time put MANY plans in motion to try his hardest to circumvent, get around, bypass, trick, dodge, or evade Ragnarok, all to no avail.  How many of those plans centered around Thor?  Several.  He's like any dad, he wants to see his boy succeed.  However, Thor doesn't have the vast wisdom and knowledge of his father, so Odin tries to teach him to use his head more.

Ok, so basically, Odin work's in mysterious ways is what you try to say? I'll politely say he is indeed VERY mysterious and leave it at that.

    2.  You said a few comments back that Thor became legendary but why hasn't Orion?  Well, not to be rude, but Thor's been around for centuries in our real life Lore, and Orion was just invented several years back.  Give Orion time and who knows, the right writers and enough of a fan base can make anyone legendary.

No. I NEVER said Orion wasn't legendary. I said his ASTRO-HARNESS never became legendary the way Thor's hammer came to be. Beside, I was talking about how it is IN the comics and not IN our world. Orion *IS* legendary in DC and so is his Astro force but not the tool that let him focus his Astro force. Time has little to do with it as Orion is an immortal god, just like Thor is. It's just that the story never gave his harness much credit. All the credit was always attributed to Orion's Astro force never his tool. For Thor it's the opposite. Or at least it use to be.
