      Quote:
The Hammer says, "Whosoever Holds This Hammer, If He Be Worthy, Shall Possess The Power of Thor."

      Quote:

        Quote:
Wielding the hammer grants you the power of THOR not MJOLNIR.

        Quote:

          Quote:
If the hammer was the origin of the granted power then the inscription would say, "Whosoever wields this hammer, if he be worthy shall possess the power of MJOLNIR."

what are we suppose to understand?

    Quote:
    a) You have the hammer, you have Thor's powers and Thor no longer has any because someone else does.

    Quote:
    b) You have the hammer, you have the same power as Thor. Too bad if you already are Thor.

    Quote:
    c) You have the hammer, you get to be Thor literally. Thor is in fact the guy who has Mjolnir.

    Quote:
    d) You have the hammer, you gain powers Thor has and powers he doesn't. Thor wasn't just given a crutch but something actually useful.

    Quote:

Although "d" is not a possible option if we stick to what is literally written on the side of the hammer, it still feel a lot more like reality if anybody ask me. The other option are all better to describe what is written literally but it also poses many problems.

    Quote:

I think I could agree with that in general. Just some of the powers do not make sense for Thor to have minus the hammer. Such as energy absorbing and typically things like antiforce do not make tons of sense to me without the hammer.
