Warriors Three #4 of 4
http://www.comixology.com/previews/NOV100551/

Sometimes will read the finale, only the finale, of a mini passed on jus to see how everything wraps up - not to mention what wraps up. Questions are inevitable but this story was pretty clear cut and a solid superhero adventure.

Saw seeker's review of #3 http://comicboards.com/php/show.php?msg=thor-2011020318252695 and many of the same comments apply; namely:
> plenty of mythology and and jokes thrown in. The Warriors Three are three very good friends and you get the feel for it.
> Fenrir also gets some depth.
> Artwise, Edwards is a bit hit and miss.
> You can feel the power.
> rely more on teamwork and skill.
Also revealed in that review but not realized with this finale was that the WT were middle-weights with the INCREDIBLE showings, plural, they displayed here. And the suicide run of Fenris was an unrealized element as reading this story.

Saw DCR's post with scans http://comicboards.com/php/show.php?msg=comicbattles-2011030301254536 for this ish with some interesting answers regarding how SUPERMAN-esque the WT are presented like. The skydive landing, the artifact exploding, the bomb hefting, the train smashing... Wow, did these Asgardians job during the SIEGE War, eh?!

Saw the issue references for previous Fenris appearances http://www.marvunapp.com/Appendix/fenriswolf.htm reporting he died during Ragnarok [and once before that it seems courtesy Beta Ray].

Okay here are some questions for the Hel of it. Feel free to answer any number if the mood strikes...

Does the name SKADIHR have any real world significance?
Where is that Henry Miller quote from and is it talking about Fenris?
How high did the WT likely fall from?
How did that 1st page explosion go off?
Did she mean she was ½-Asgardian when Helen claimed to be a MUTANT scientist?
Is BRANDRHEID UNDRSIGR new to this mini?
Are the Deep Dwellers referring to dwarves in general or a specific skilled offshoot?
Liked the story point of the WT reluctant to steal a truck - but surely there must be backissues where they did as much under different circumstances, right?
Uhhh, were they just bluffing about the strand of GLEIPNIR chain?
Adamantium bs Gleipnir?
So, this happens some time after current #ing in Thor?
So, Fandral and Hogun are mad at each other over a woman right now?
So, the world threatening Fenris monster is caged in an open aired courtyard in Oklahoma? Steve must be afraid of PETA to allow this, eh?

Still missing my brother...

It's a refreshing take on 3 guys who have been around for quite some time. Many feel they are simply comic relief, and as such are baffled as to why they are capable of hanging around for as long as they have in an Asgardian realm populated by a bunch of monsters.

This series comfortably delves into WHY they are so respected in their homeland as well as shows us more of the depth of their knowledge of warfare, battle tactics, personal abilities, etc... and still has that background edge of comic relief at times that we've come to appreciate over the years about their friendship w/each other.

To me, the seeming upgrade in their abilities isn't an upgrade, it's a confirmation of what they're capable of, and why they've been able to stay around for as long as they have in their world. The problem in the past is that writer's didn't delve into the WHY. Now they have, and it's shown why they're as good as they are.
