Thunderstrike reverts to Kevin and is being chased down by Adam Mann.

Grunny is trying to deal with the emerging creature but the creature is MAN-GOG. He's back and not in the best of moods and wants THOR. He senses the Thunderstrike mace and thinks its THOR and heads to him.

In a funny moment, some citizens hit Adam Mann with their car and think they ran into Iron Man. Kevin reclaims the mace and transforms back into that ugly costume he created. The citizens think he's trying to kill Iron Man until they get some brains and realize that isn't Iron Man.

Man-Gog attacks Thunderstrike and Grunny tells him to transform. This removes the scent of Asgard from Kevin and Man-gog loses interest in him.

Man-Gog confronts Adam Mann who claims to be a god and is eaten by Man-Gog. Kevin and Grunny escape and Kevin contacts Commander Rogers to get the Avengers and THOR. He's ordered to leave it to the professionals. However he then tosses the cell phone to Grunny and states he now understands what his father tried to teach him about being a hero and about responsibility and transforms into a better costume (that appears to have some TRON elements in the design).

Last pages are a splash page of Kevin declaring to Man-GOG that he is THUNDERSTRIKE and that he brought some friends with him, the Avengers and THOR GOD OF THUNDER!

Besides his image on the cool cover? This is proving to be a Dark Horse mini series...

Thunderstrike #4 of5

A thoroughly enjoyable penultimate chapter.

Adam Mann's fate was laughable - as in, 'looks good on him'. Or is that IN him? ;\) 'Course if he IS the son of a god then Marvel will spit him back out sometime down the road.

Grunny was great as was the A-Team's response time. Though THOR should have made his own separate entrance!

Kevin's is growing up fast and his new TS look awesome. Makes sense he would think a mask is best too. He delivered the funniest line: "I THINK I HEAR MY MOTHER CALLING." \:D

Unfortunately, don't know that much about MANGOG to worry as many here probably are. Can anyone offer any Readers Digest snippet beyond his Wiki recap of him. What makes him so scary to Grunny? His rep makes him to Asgard like Galactus to Earth, right? Whats his biggest claim to fame?

Curious if there is any connection to any real world mythical uber entity. Is it just a coincident that the name sounds so similar to Magog, DC's mythical uber entity [know nada about him too].
