I don't see the burden. An inconclusive example versus four examples of Thor or Thor-like characters taking bullets.

I was referring to JIM#100. Not the rest. Any interpretation of JIM#100 leading us to believe anything but what was explicitly said is definitely going to be YOUR burden. Nothing in that story help your stance.
I'm starting to smell some ill-will here.

Also, it's not because you show me some scans coming 26 years later that they retcon everything before that point. Doubly so when 26 years later the best we have still show bullets leaving marks in Thor's flesh when the caliber was higher than a handgun. I also remember the reaction among the fans when Thor was shown standing-up to bullets even with welts. It was a big deal and was used like a victory banner. Hence why I only partially concede to you.

Even your scans of Thunderstrike, who are coming 26 years after Thor's debut, aren't all that different from KB's stance when we compare Priest's story and the one that gave him welts. It's quite similar in spirit that bullets in general can't kill Thor but they could leave their mark.

Kurt Busiek unequivocally said that bullets would threaten Thor's life, rather than leave welts. Many of us were willing to concede that bullets could leave welts on Thor, which is why he tended to block them. Busiek wanted none of that.

Then why did he also say the sniper bullet could not penetrate Thor's skull, only his skin? Do you have the reference you are alluding to? Maybe a bullet in his eye could yield more deadly result per Busiek but I speculate. I just remember him speaking of Thor's skull being too hard to penetrate. As an aside, that you were ready to concede welts for Thor speaks volume regarding his past. Don't you think?
