Subj: I was taking issue at your statement that Marvel makes a greater attempt at realism then other companies.

IE The Incredible Hulk. Robert Bruce Banner a six foot and at best 160lbs somehow gains an extra foot in height and an additional 800-900 lbs of bone, muscle and tissue mass from no where and loses it just as quickly. That defies the laws of psychics. Not to mention he survives being at ground zero of a special nuke.

And you have characters in DC like Superboy Prime that could probably drag Planets, so what's new?

You have viglantes who can evade gunfire. Sorry but the human reaction time is not that fast, by the time your brain processes the info it's to late.

The Australian Tiger Beetle is the fastest animal in the world- and it runs into things because he doesn't see them coming when they're going so fast. And you have DC speedsters running at light speed (that's ONLY about 186,0000 MILES PER SECOND- not much really) w/o running into buildings, etc. What was it about all these brain processing that you were talking about...?

Note: Marvel made a "Special" exception for Thor (who's not a mortal) in that he could see and process extremely fast moving objects like bullets, or living beings like Hermes when he was running at full top speed- yet a regular human being like Photon who can fly at light speed couldn't see him. Like you said, just because someone can run at light speed doesn't mean they could see (never mind process) extremely fast moving objects when they're standing still. In that regards, DC broke every conventional Laws of Physics imaginable... Marvel is a lot more realistic even though they do stretch things quite a bit, but who knows if in the future they might concoct some genetic funky potion that could make a normal human being into a Hulk like Giant...

They don't strech it out a little. More like alot.
