and that's what makes me mad. the background asgardians are insanely strong and skilled warriors, but when the writers write a big battle, example- siege, with MORTAL soldiers, killing and getting the advantage on beating the asgardians, it just drives me mad! bendis is just as bad as any writer when it comes down to this. i want a writer to WRITE if beings like this are fighting in our earthly reality, to show us what really happens when class 30 soldiers with thousand of years of fighting fight our puny mortal human soldiers. because what's the use of publishing a stupid magazine like the MARVEL UNIVERSE book that tells us what the "average" asgardian male/female power set is when they can't even hold their own against a daredevil or black widow??

REAL writers please step up to the plate if asgardian soldiers are what you say they are!

I really would love to see a story about a generic asgardian having a night out on the town where maybe he drinks too much mead or something and starts tearing up the town. Think about it, just one of these guys should be enough to make a character like Spider-Man use all his resources to beat him. Can Spidey's webbing stop a class 30 ton character? Wouldn't this guy's stamina be greater than just about any mortal save guys like Hulk, Cap or Wolverine. How do you put down a warrior who is trained to kill. This guy would be like Conan the Barbarian except many time stronger. Isn't it a bit ridiculous that none of these earthbound asgardians ever leave their wrecked city and go wandering about?
