You do know that the invitation for vampires to enter a building came before Buffy right? It is a very old piece of folk lore that many movies and shows have used. They have different takes on it, and some ignore it but it is very old.

And no, as far as I know this is the first time D'spray and Dweller were said to have any sort of relation. I think they were both fear lords in Dr. Strange but that was all I remember from it.

    Journey Into Mystery #633

No comments on this yet? Thought it was a pleasure to read:

•Great cover. Liked the inside art too.
•Just a plain fun PrevPage that still brings the recap!
•Very weird realizing there has now been 2 Asgards destroyed in Broxton - insurance salesmen must really have it tough there.
•Enjoyed the poetic meetign of the Fear Lords.
•Did we know that D'Spayre was Dweller's son?
•Entertained by the 'bar fight' in the Diner.
•Wow, those hellpuppies grow up fast.
•International settings are refreshing. Poland, cool, when was that country last in an MU book...
•They did a twist on that Buffy the Vampire Slayer thing where a vampire has to be invited in to entre. That might be neat in the MU if there wasn't already tons of precident saying otherwise. Still, an intriguing way to introduce Daimon to the title. This interpretation of him is starting out better than his recent appearances.
•All-Mother appearing lovely and wise. Still can't get use to Gaea being treated as a 'lesser' god compared to her elder Earth goddess status that seemed equal to Cthon. It weird seeing her play favorites with this Pantheon.
•Always appreciate a detailed map pertinently included in a story and Daimon does a fine job with Oklahoma's... no bones about it. ;\)
•Well, at least Loki can still see the forgotten Thor in his dreams. Curious how THE TERRORISM MYTH fits in at this point.
•So, it's (likely) gonna be Kid Loki vs Nightmare... BUT FIRST: Hellstorm!

    Resolving to move on...
