Quote:That aside, I think you got a couple of things wrong. You assume that Herc will tire and weaken before Hulk. Really? Herc IS immortal (when not mortal which counts for a lot, depending on the writer. His stamina is well into the godlike category and he can fight for weeks. Can the same be said of Hulk?
I can't think of an occasion where Hercules fought anyone, much less a peer, for that long of a time, but the Hulk's fight with the Chtylok lasted for days. The biggest factor would be injuries accumulating over the course of the fight, though. There, Hercules is at a significant disadvantage.
Quote:You also attest that Hulk just keeps getting stronger, which is something hulkamaniacs like to cite, but even fan-boy writers stay away from, as obviously it's clearly preposterous. How can an irradiated man be truly infinite in any capacity, let alone posses limitless strength?
Because the comics say so. It's like saying Superman can't fly faster than light even though he's been shown doing so. The thing is, just because the Hulk can
keep getting stronger doesn't mean he will
keep getting stronger. While Hulk has shown the ability to vastly exceed Herc-level strength, it's very unlikely to happen in a fight between the two.
You mean "the madder Hulk gets, the stronger Hulk gets"? I actually love that line, but it's never been shown other than Hulk overcoming some attainable/physical obstacle. Otherwise, he'd be wandering around punching out Destroyer, Kurse, Mangog, Thanos etc. Nah, sorry, it's NEVER been shown in comics and never will, because it sounds great but wasn't thought through.
