And the point I'm making is that The Gods need to be shown of a higher order than they are. As it has been stated on this message board previously, during The Silver Age of Comics The Gods were the Pinnacle of Power. I know that times have changed but I'm sorry, but Power doesn't. And no matter what, I still think The Gods need to be ranked higher. My opinion.

I do not think I would go with the top of the pyramid at that point either. They were the top of a small pyramid. Odin at one point, along with Galactus, were likely among the most powerful beings out there. Dormammu was also up there. Other folks show up along the way and have to fit in, some being more powerful and some changing.

The gods are still powerful, I do not think anyone sees them as not being powerful. Could they use some other powers for the other gods. Sure, but Odin is still really powerful and Thor is one of the most powerful standard beings in Marvel in regards to heroes. I do not see why they have to be the end all be all of anything.

Considering there are multiple gods on Earth and each world has its own sets of them I think it makes sense that they are powerful within their world and can war with each other but in and of themselves they are not vital to the universe at large. The Asgardians are a little different with a few of things they have but as a whole gods should not be that powerful. They are to human like in their emotions. I think Marvel was good to leave alot of the stuff to more indifferent cosmic sort of beings that just do their job and that is it. At least that is what I think.

A guy like Odin should be someone that Eternity might hear but probably not give much weight to in other words. And I do not think that is that disrespectful to the character honestly.

Dude, its been proven that Odin has power on the same scale of Eternity. Odin once fought Eternity and when Odin realized what he was doing, he quickly dispatched of Eternity and undid all the damage that was done. If you need further proof please refer to Thor vol.1# 185-188. Good Day Sir.
