    Quote:
Thor wishs to see what is happening with the battle. To clear what is between Thor and the fight is what is happening. A fight careening through the Marvel Universe. Destroying, but not vaporizing Galaxies.

Thor wished to remove what's blocking their view, which was the mists of night.  That is what he says.  He doesn't destroy a galaxy.  That is never said.

    Quote:
Thor also doesn't say he's clearing away mists, which you incorrectly emphasize.  He says he's clearing away "Mists of Night", not simple mists, mists of something in this case night. The night is not made of mists, nor does Thor need a storm of such magnitude to clear mists.

Of isn't used to indicate the material here.  It's not like saying a wall of cement.  It's used in the sense of the animals of Africa or the light of day.

The mists of night are mists found at night, not mists somehow made of night itself.

What was blocking his view was left over galactic debris not mists.

And you're tryin way too hard to ignore what's actually shown to take literally what is in fact just metaphor.

And your explanation is still fail. Of is indicative still in each of your examples.
