Which explains why he said mists were blocking his view rather than galactic debris. 


    And you're tryin way too hard to ignore what's actually shown to take literally what is in fact just metaphor.
    And your explanation is still fail. Of is indicative still in each of your examples.

It's indicative of where (or when) they're found, not what they're made from.  Animals of Africa means animals found in Africa, not animals made from the land itself.  Light of day means the light found in the day, not light made from the "substance" of daytime.  And mists of night means mists found at night.
Reading mists of night as saying the mists are made from the "substance" of night is a damned strange reading on its own, but then taking it and interpreting it as the debris of destroyed galaxies...?  How did you ever come up with that?
It's clear though that this is a waste of my time, so this is my last reply on this subject.
