Would be Watcher, my whole argument has been that Thor isn't portrayed in the correct light. He shouldn't be getting challenged by anyone short of Galactus, Odin, Zeus, EGO, Celestials, The Living Tribunal. I'm saying that the Hulk isn't on his level and I'll give you something else to ponder. In marvel its established that The Sentry has what the power equal to a million exploding Sun's(I believe) and Marvel has even insinuated that The Void was actually the physical personification of The Angel of Death of Biblical Times. Yet Thor, was able to destroy The Sentry/Void at the end of The Seige, but now you're going to tell me that Thor isn't supposed to show and repeat this level of power? Really? Lets just do this, you're going to continue to argue your point and I'll argue mine. Lets see how many other posters agree with each of us.

I know that you think it SHOULD not be like that. Your opinion is noted and I have nothing against it. However, what I say is, this is the case BECAUSE your view of what a "god" is, isn't the same as Marvel. Why is it that gods SHOULD be presented the way you want it? Why is it that Marvel's version is invalid? They can imagine whatever they want and call gods whoever they want. The problem is you refuse anybody the right to use that word for anything else than what YOU consider a god.

If your whole point was only to share with us how you would have liked the gods to be, as opposed to what they actually are in Marvel, I would have had no problem with it. However, you kinda call Marvel's version BS because it doesn't fit your bill and this is why you face a lot of opposition. It's one thing to say I'd prefer Balder to be stronger than Hulk, but quite another to say it's BS that Hulk is stronger than Balder. It's not BS. It's Marvel's choice to refer to worshiped extra-dimensional super-beings as "gods". I don't see any problem with that in itself even if I can understand how it can conflict with your constructions of what a god refers to.

BTW, Sentry was never as powerful as a million exploding suns anymore than Ironman is invincible. Maybe Jenkin's version would have been proven to live up to that hype but Jenkings went away before that and the story of Sentry went VERY differently than that.  Also, Thor didn't destroy Void alone... the story strongly implied Bob made it possible to be killed and the writer pretty much confirmed it for those who couldn't read between the lines.
