yeah, not a fan of that either.
I'm not a big fan of chanting the mantra "is nothing sacred," but…
One of the things I cant stand is that mutants, if popular enough, always get a Marvel story line along the lines of "you're empowered by the grandest force in the universe."
Magento can destroy the world on a whim.
Professor X can psychically control the universe
Magneto/Professor X combined can destroy the universe.
Mageto/Professor X/Red Skrull combined can do even more than that, and be red.
87 different heirs of the Richards family are more powerful than that in the not so distant future.
Now Kang can defeat Celestials? Isn't he just a really smart dude? Thor's Axe (or blood or whatever) can cut one in half? Hmmm….
Sure, nothing's sacred, but there's got to be some realism (cough cough) in comic books. When celestials start jobbing, you kinda ruin them for good. Kinda like the Thing. Except that Celestials are cosmics, so it basically wrecks the whole cosmic scale. Now maybe that's what Marvel wants to do. If so, so be it. But there better be an awfully good reason Kang could do this….like some other cosmics helped out or something. If not, it's just kinda silly.
