In the way i think it works, it's a "normal" magical axe wielded by a thunder god on anyone else, but on any Celestial based Tech/Powers/Nature has the added bonus to be deadly and capable of cutting through any defense and "bleed them out".
Basically, cutting through Adamantium? probably doable if it's secondary, if primary maybe can dent it. if it's Cap's shield, probably not normally unless wielded by a skyfather (Still, the new Thor in #3 apparently broke a "adamantium/vibranium" door with her bare hands while she was being actively depowered by the 60 second spell, so i don't know how much "unbrakable it is right now); if it's a celestial made mesh, Celestial armor, Death Seeds/Horsemen of Apocalypse, even incorporeal ones? all killable and hurtable, even top Celestials, given the weapon acts on them like a normal weapon acts on a normal human, preventing their "repairing" themselves apparently.

very logical. yet the notion that celestial armor is weaker than cap's shield under any circumstances doesn't fly with me.
don't get me wrong: i'm all for cap's shield being unbreakable. but if you told me that humans developed an armor formula that "the gods to the gods" couldn't/don't match or exceed, then it just doesn't make much sense.
even if we assume that there's a "celestial special" enchantment to the axe that makes up the difference here, i just can't see how someone could conjure something like that unless they're cosmic level. odin can't. kang shouldn't be able to.
