Quote: I'm willing to bet that Mjolnir is the God of Hammers! Mjolnir is it's own entity! I mean how can that not be an obvious theory is beyond me....Quote: SmhI don't know why certain writers have to keep mucking with Mjolnir's origin. It wasn't broken, it didn't need to be fixed. And 'fixing' Mjolnir's origin has basically unravelled the entire Thor mythos, and I would argue has led to the less epic stories, not more. Thor and his mythological backdrop endured centuries, and that's why they were a good starting point for Marvel's Thor. It's pretty hubric for a writer to try rework a formula that served as the basis for an entire religion. This is like Gremlins 2 all over again... Also, rather than making Thor less dependent on Mjolnir, reworking Mjolnir with some Dawn of Time, God of Hammers input is sure to make Thor more dependent on Mjolnir than ever. | |||||||
