I am expecting a highly enjoyable romp with epic action sequences, though no real strength feats (alas I believe that Thor's physical abilities will remain ambiguous in the MCU).

Uh, what? He tossed a spaceship that Rocket was flying and dislodged/moved several miles-long rings surrounding a neutron star. That's a pretty big strength feat. Has there been a bigger strength feat in the MCU?

Sadly, while the MCU tends to emphasise the overall power quotient and significance of characters like Doctor Strange and Scarlet Witch (not to mention Captain Marvel), and ensures that characters such as Shang Chi, Cap and Spidey are portrayed to their fullest possible potential, Thor is likely to remain a highly durable viking-alien with a magical hammer, pretensions of mythic grandeur, a charismatic swagger, and a colourful supporting cast. His untapped godly/cosmic reservoirs of awesome power will remain unknown to the GA

Uh, what? Thor has displayed awesome power. He leveled Jotunheim, he destroyed a floating Sokovia and survived its explosion, he endured "the full power of a star" for "minutes" to forge Stormbreaker, he all but beat the Hulk without Mjolnir, he practically singlehandedly saved the Avengers when Thanos' forces were overwhelming them, and Thor very nearly killed Thanos while he had the full power of the Infinity Gauntlet.

How to make an entrance:
